How To Improve Your LIFE

Personality:
[1]. Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
[2]. Don't have negative thoughts of things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment
[3]. Don't overdo; keep your limits
[4]. Don't take yourself so seriously; no one else does
[5]. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip
[6]. Dream more while you are awake
[7]. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need..
[8]. Forget issues of the past. Don't remind your partner of his/ her mistakes of the past. That will ruin your present happiness.
[9]. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. Don't hate others.
[10]. Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present[11].No one is in charge of your happiness except you
[12]. Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.
[13]. Smile and laugh more
[14]. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

Community:
[15]. Call your family often
[16]. Each day give something good to others
[17]. Forgive everyone for everything
[18]. Spend time with people over the age of 70 & under the age of 6
[19]. Try to make at least three people smile each day
[20]. What other people think of you is none of your business
[21]. Your job will not take care of you when you are sick. Your family and friends will. Stay in touch.

Life:
[22]. Put GOD first in anything and everything that you think, say and do.
[23]. GOD heals everything
[24]. Do the right things
[25]. However good or bad a situation is, it will change
[26]. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up
[27]. The best is yet to come
[28]. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful
[29]. When you awake alive in the morning, thank GOD for it
[30]. If you know GOD, you will always be happy. So, be happy.

While you practice all of the above, share this knowledge with the people you love. Not only will it enrich YOUR life, but also that of those around you.

Take strength from meeting the challenges, and move ahead. The struggles you face are just what you need to fulfill your potential for greatness.

A year from now, when you look back at today, you’ll see that the problem you’re so concerned with right now, was another valuable lesson waiting to be learned.

I Will Be There For You

I'll be there for you

These five words I swear to you
When you breathe
I want to be the air for you
I'll be there for you

I'd live and I'd die for you
Steal the sun from the sky for you
Words can't say what a Love can do
I'll be there for you.

Things That Make Life Important

I grew up in the fifties with practical parents- a Mother, God love her, who washed aluminum foil after she cooked in it, then reused it. She was the original recycle queen, before they had a name for it. A Father who was happier getting old shoes fixed than buying new ones.

Their marriage was good, their dreams focused. Their best friends lived barely a wave away. I can see them now, Dad in trousers, tee shirt and a hat and Mom in a house dress, lawn mower in one hand, dish towel in the other.

It was the time for fixing things - a curtain rod, the kitchen radio, screen door, the oven door, the hem in a dress. Things we keep. It was a way of life, and sometimes it made me crazy. All that re-fixing, re heating, renewing, I wanted just once to be wasteful; waste meant affluence. Throwing things away meant you knew there'd always be more.

But then my Mother died, and on that clear summer's night, in the warmth of the hospital room, I was struck with the pain of learning that sometimes there isn't any more.

Sometimes, what we care about most goes away... never to return.

So, while we have it, it's best we love it, and care for it; fix it when it's broken, and heal it when it's sick. This is true for marriage, friends, old radios, and old cars, children with bad report cards, and dogs with bad hips, and aging parents, and grandparents.

There are just some things that make life important, like people we know who are special, so keep them close!

Game Of LIFE

This game is called LIFE!

Seven rules to it;

1. Make peace with your past so it doesn't spoil your present.
2. What other people think of you is none of your business.
3.Time heals almost everything, give the time, sometime.
4. No one is a reason of your happiness except yourself.
5. Don't compare your life with other's, you have no idea what their journey is all about.
6. Stop thinking too much, it's alright not to know all the answers.
7. Smile! you don't own all the problems in the world. ;)

I Have Learned That...

I’ve Learned…That
the best classroom in the world is at the feet of an elderly person.

I’ve Learned…That
when you’re in love, it shows.

I’ve Learned…That
just one person saying to me, “You’ve made my day!” makes my day.

I’ve Learned…That
having a child fall asleep in your arms is one of the most peaceful feelings in the world.

I’ve Learned…That
being kind is more important than being right.

I’ve Learned…That
you should never say no to a gift from a child.

I’ve Learned…That
I can always pray for someone when I don’t have the strength to help him in some other way.

I’ve Learned…That
no matter how serious your life requires you to be, everyone needs a friend to act goofy with.

I’ve Learned…That
sometimes all a person needs is a hand to hold and a heart to understand.

I’ve Learned…That
simple walks with my father around the block on summer nights when I was a child did wonders for me as an adult.

I’ve Learned…That
life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes.

I’ve Learned…That
we should be glad God doesn’t give us everything we ask for.

I’ve Learned…That
money doesn’t buy class.

I’ve Learned…That
it’s those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular.

I’ve Learned…That
under everyone’s hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved.

I’ve Learned…That
the Lord didn’t do it all in one day. What makes me think I can?

I’ve Learned…That
to ignore the facts does not change the facts.

I’ve Learned…That
when you plan to get even with someone, you are only letting that person continue to hurt you.

I’ve Learned…That
love, not time, heals all wounds.

I’ve Learned…That
the easiest way for me to grow as a person is to surround myself with people smarter than I am.

I’ve Learned…That
everyone you meet deserves to be greeted with a smile.

I’ve Learned…That
there’s nothing sweeter than sleeping with your babies and feeling their breath on your cheeks.

I’ve Learned…That
no one is perfect until you fall in love with them.

I’ve Learned…That
life is tough, but I’m tougher.

I’ve Learned…That
opportunities are never lost; someone will take the ones you miss.

I’ve Learned…That
when you harbor bitterness, happiness will dock elsewhere.

I’ve Learned…That
I wish I could have told my Mom that I love her, one more time, before she passed away.

I’ve Learned…That
one should keep his words both soft and tender, because tomorrow he may have to eat them.

I’ve Learned…That
a smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.

I’ve Learned…That
I can’t choose how I feel, but I can choose what I do about it.

I’ve Learned…That
when your newly born grandchild holds your little finger in his little fist, that you’re hooked for life.

I’ve Learned…That
everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs while you’re climbing it.

I’ve Learned…That
it is best to give advice in only two circumstances; when it is requested and when it is a life-threatening situation.

I’ve Learned…That
the less time I have to work with, the more things I get done.
